Cancellation Policy
Notice of any cancellation or re‐scheduling must be given with a minimum 48 hours notice.
Failure to notify the clinic in less than 48 hours or failing to show up will result in a charge of the full cost of your appointment fee and the cost of non‐reusable products prepared for that treatment.
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late will forfeit their appointment and will be charged full price plus the cost of any non‐reusable products prepared for that treatment.

Booking Policy
Patients may book two scheduled appointments at a time. Multiple bookings over the amount of two must be approved before booking.
Abuse of the 48hr cancellation policy will be subject to cancellation charges. Patients cancelling or re-scheduling the same appointment more than twice consecutively will be charged the cost of a full visit which must be paid before making any subsequent appointments.

Please be polite to staff, they care about patients and try their best! Conducting yourself in a disrespectful manner is not tolerated. If you have an issue with a staff member please let the physician know within your appointment.

Email communication with Butterfly Naturopathic is not confidential. Please either call in sensitive info or use your patient portal to upload files such as labs etc.
During our weekly office hours we try to answer emails within 24 hours but this is not always possible. Emails and phone messages are not checked after hours, on weekends or holidays. If you require more immediate assistance please visit your nearest walk-in clinic or hospital emergency department.
Should you want to speak with one of our physicians directly you may book a short appointment. Treatment plan review, medical recommendations, updates or adjustments and contact with the doctor are completed through scheduled appointments only. * For existing patients.
Patients returning to the clinic that have not had an appointment in over 12 months will require a Returning Patient 60min Appointment.
Our office is not equipped for emergency medicine. If you have an emergency please call 911 or go to the emergency room.
Pharmaceutical Prescription Refills and Prescription Adjustments require a follow-up appointment. Appointment availability may be limited, patients should plan in advance to their prescriptions running out to avoid interruption of their medications. Due to legal and ethical guidelines, we are unable to provide recommendations or prescriptions via email.

However, you can easily access these documents through our online patient portal. Please note that access to a computer is necessary to view your treatment plans and results.

Direct Billing is available for a variety of Extended Health Providers. Patients are responsible for managing their own insurance limits. We cannot guarantee coverage for any Extended Medical Plan. Patients are responsible for any amount not covered by their Extended Medical plans due immediately upon services rendered.
Payment for appointments, supplements, and labs are due strictly at the time services are rendered, products are dispensed, or requisitions written. Dispensary items, appointments, and lab tests must be paid for in full before leaving the clinic and are non refundable.

Release of Records
Receiving Patient records: At times our physicians may request information from other practitioners. The patient is required to fill out and sign a release of record request that will be faxed from our clinic. The patient is responsible for any fees associated with their record request. ( There may be fees associated with other clinics sending a release of records )
Releasing Patient records: Patients may want their information shared with other practitioners. Please have the requesting practitioner send a signed release of records request to our clinic. The patient is required to contact our clinic to pay the release of record processing fee of $20.00 per file plus $0.10 per page before the records will be released to the requesting practitioner.
